Effective date: 16 October 2026
Cogoo Inc. (“Cogoo,” “we,” “us”) develops Dead 2048: Last Hope. This policy describes information used by the iOS game, its integrated services and our support communications. Contact us at help@cogooland.com for privacy questions and requests. Our general Terms of Service are separate from this policy. This policy does not cover other Cogoo games with different integrations.
Local game data. The game stores fortress progress, Records, settings, inventory, virtual currency and reward/purchase fulfilment records on your device. The current game does not require a separate Cogoo account or provide an account-backed cloud wallet. Device or operating-system backups may include local game data according to your settings.
Purchases. Apple processes App Store payments. The game receives product identifiers, transaction/receipt information and entitlement status to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate delivery and restore eligible non-consumable purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Consumed virtual currency and local progress are not restored in the same way as a non-consumable entitlement.
Advertising and consent data. Google AdMob and mediation partners AppLovin, Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network may process IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, identifiers permitted by your settings, ad requests, impressions, interactions and diagnostic/fraud-prevention information. Availability varies by region, configuration and partner approval. The game stores and communicates privacy choices through Google's consent system. The game does not ask for GPS/location access; approximate IP-based location is different from precise GPS location.
Analytics and diagnostics. We integrate Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Gameplay analytics can include sessions, progression, feature use, purchase and rewarded-ad events, app/device information and an app-instance identifier. The game's analytics gate requires an affirmative analytics-storage permission before sending its Firebase gameplay events. Crash diagnostics may include stack traces, crash/installation identifiers, app/device versions and technical state used to investigate failures. Advertising SDKs may also collect their own diagnostics.
Support. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and information you choose to attach. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information. The current release's Records are local; an online leaderboard is not enabled.
We use information to save and operate the game, deliver and verify purchases and rewards, provide advertising, measure and improve gameplay where permitted, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and answer support requests. We may also process information to meet legal obligations or protect legal rights. Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, these activities rely on providing the requested service, consent for relevant optional processing, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation where permitted. Consent can be withdrawn without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Integrated providers receive information needed for their services. Advertising providers and their advertising partners may also use information as independent controllers under their own policies. We may disclose relevant information to service providers assisting support or operations, when legally required, or when necessary to protect rights and security. A business transfer involving the game may include relevant data, subject to applicable law. We do not publish your support messages or local fortress save as a public player profile.
Read the providers' policies and available rights tools:
Google / AdMob privacy
Firebase privacy and security
AppLovin privacy
Unity game-player privacy

Where offered, use Privacy Options in the game's Settings to review or change consent choices, including relevant partner and sale/sharing choices. On iOS, you can review tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Tracking permission, GDPR consent and US sale/sharing choices are separate; allowing one is not permission for all processing. Refusing tracking or personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ad requests or essential security processing. Ads may still be contextual or limited, subject to availability.
Some advertising disclosures can be considered a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain US state laws, even without a cash payment. Where those laws apply, you may request the relevant opt-out through available in-game controls and by contacting us. Provider policies above explain their own choices. Contact us if an expected control is unavailable.
Local saves remain until removed or overwritten by the game or device. Uninstalling or resetting can erase progress and consumable balances; backups may retain separate copies. Removing local data does not automatically delete information already held by advertising or analytics providers.
We retain support and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, including resolving requests, preventing duplicate purchase fulfilment, meeting legal obligations and handling disputes. Provider-held data follows the provider's retention and deletion rules linked above. Contact us to ask which information we hold and to request deletion where applicable. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system or transmission is completely secure.
Cogoo and its providers may process information outside your country, including in countries with different privacy laws. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards must be used; you may contact us for information relevant to your data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of personal data, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. You may also have a right to appeal a decision, use an authorized agent or complain to your privacy regulator. Contact help@cogooland.com with “Privacy request” and the game name. We may ask for proportionate verification and will respond as required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising your rights. We cannot identify a particular provider's pseudonymous record from your name alone; we can help route a request to its rights tools.
Children's personal information is subject to additional protections under applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the game, contact help@cogooland.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. App Store age ratings describe content suitability and do not themselves provide consent to personal-data processing.
