Tactical Support

Four ways to change the fight

Your merge board supplies the firepower. Tactical Support lets you intervene when the infected change the problem: call a sweep, divert a horde, prepare a trap, or choose a precise strike.

Supports become available as you progress. Use them during Attack when ready, and check their buttons for availability and recharge.

Convoy · Choose the moment

Call armed trucks to sweep a sector automatically. They can clear smaller enemies and help damage tougher ones. Your choice is when to call for help.

Signal Flare · Change their direction

Place a ground beacon to draw eligible infected away for a short window. Timing and placement turn that diversion into breathing room.

Minefield · Prepare their arrival

Choose a marked perimeter socket and prepare a trap. An approaching enemy triggers a local blast, with a brief stun for affected survivors.

Strike Plane · Pick the impact

Choose a battlefield target for a direct strike. Friendly towers near the impact can also take damage, so aim carefully.

Before you use a ready command

Read the incoming formation and the defenses already in place. A ready support needs a useful situation or valid target. Research can strengthen your supports as you progress.

Try this: watch one attack and identify its biggest problem. A rush, a crowded lane, a jammer, and a heavy enemy can call for different responses.
