Choose the moment for a sweep

Convoy sends armed trucks around the fortress perimeter to help clear an attack in one sector. You choose when to call them; the sweep is automatic.

How to use it

During Attack, watch the approaching formations. Tap CONVOY when it is ready and attackers are present. You do not need to aim at individual enemies.

When it helps

A group of smaller infected is building pressure on a lane. Calling Convoy while that group is still a threat can give your towers room to recover.

The sweep can also reach a hovering Support Caster, giving you an option when Mines cannot help.

Limits to remember

Convoy helps one sector at a time and cannot be relied on to clear an entire formation. Tough enemies may survive and still need your towers.

Check the command button for readiness. A ready command still needs a valid attack to act on.

Try this

Compare calling the trucks during a crowded approach with saving them for a later threat. Watch whether your existing towers can use the opening.
